Sundays

We meet as a Church family every Sunday.

Morning worship is at 10.00 am when we gather to worship God and to look at his Word together. Families are very important to us and we set aside time for the children to take part. We also have a Sunday School for 3-14 year olds and Crèche facility for younger children. This service is also available via our Live Stream.

We welcome everyone to join us on a Sunday! We recognise that sometimes parents are hesitant about bringing little children, but please don’t worry! We believe God gave children the vibrant energy that sometimes causes them to wriggle and make noise! They belong in Church along with you and the rest of the Church family! Feel free to sit nearer the front so the little ones can hear and see what’s going on without them seeing the backs of peoples heads. We don’t have a dress code – please come as you are – we’re interested in you as a person and not on external appearances!

Evening worship takes place at 6.00 pm. This is usually more informal, with a time of worship and practical Bible teaching.

The Church family are very friendly and would love you to stay and have refreshments with us after our services.

Singing / Worship
The music is a key part of the service. We have a band and our worship songs are a mix of traditional and contemporary. The congregation is encouraged to actively participate, often standing while singing. The lyrics are displayed on to a screen, allowing everyone to follow along. Worship emphasizes expressing praise and love for God.

Prayer
Prayers are woven throughout our services and there will also be a specific time for prayer, where someone will lead us in prayer for various needs (local community, the world, personal requests).

Bible Reading
A portion of the Bible will be read which ties into the sermon. We place a high value on Scripture.

Bible Talk / Sermon
The central part of the service is the sermon, which lasts about 30-35 minutes. The preaching is often expository, meaning the preacher explains and applies a passage of Scripture in detail. Sermons are usually practical, focusing on how the Bible’s teachings apply to everyday life, and how believers can grow in their faith.

Communion
Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper) may not happen every week but is observed regularly. When it is, bread and wine (grape juice) are shared to remember Jesus’ sacrificial death.

Accessibility
Our services are fully accessible to everyone, with a hearing aid loop available for those who use hearing aids and song words provided on a tablet for those who need them. We strive to ensure that everyone can fully participate in worship.
