Forty years of God’s faithfulness. One community. Countless lives touched. And still, with hearts full of hope, we look to all that lies ahead.

God’s faithfulness

Forty years ago, a small group of believers gathered with a simple conviction: that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything. What God has done since then is nothing short of remarkable.

“Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you established the earth, and it stands fast.”

From those early gatherings to today, Walton Evangelical Church has been a place where the lost have been found, the broken have been made whole, and generations have grown up in the knowledge of Christ. We have laughed together, wept together, and again and again found that God is faithful — not just in the milestones, but in the ordinary, everyday moments of church life.

This anniversary is not a celebration of ourselves. It is a celebration of Him, Jesus, — the one whose grace has sustained us, whose word has guided us, and whose Spirit has moved among us decade after decade.

Looking to the future

Forty years is a moment to pause — but not to stop. The God who has been faithful for four decades is the same God who holds the future. We believe the best days for Walton Evangelical Church are still ahead.

We look forward prayerfully: for more individuals and families to encounter the living Christ, for our roots to go deeper in his word, for our arms to reach wider into our community, and for a generation yet to come to know the same grace that has carried us this far.
