Our vision as a Church … “living to love, serve and share Jesus!”

Our vision of “living to love, serve, and share Jesus” is deeply rooted in Scripture, reflecting key biblical principles that guide our mission.

Living to Love Jesus: Walton church emphasizes the importance of loving Jesus with all one’s heart, soul, and mind, following the greatest commandment found in Matthew 22:37-38: “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.'” This verse underlines the centrality of love for Jesus as the foundation of a believer’s life.

Living to Serve Jesus: Service is at the heart of our mission, inspired by Matthew 20:28: “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” This reflects the church’s commitment to follow Jesus’ example of humility and selflessness in serving others, recognizing that true greatness in the Kingdom of God is found in serving others.

Living to Share Jesus: Our church is dedicated to sharing the gospel, inspired by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This passage underscores the church’s mission to actively spread the message of Jesus Christ, both locally and globally, fulfilling the call to make disciples of all nations.

Through these biblical foundations, Walton church strives to create a community that not only believes in Jesus but also lives out His teachings by loving, serving, and sharing His message with the world. In all that we do as a Church we want to live for and love Jesus Christ, serve one another and share the good news of salvation with the local community and wider world.
