As we endeavour to care for the local community we try to look after the local area as well as the people. We meet together to collect litter from the locality in order to look after the environment and provide cleaner places for the community.

We have been organising litter picks in the area’s parks and green spaces since June 2008.

We meet at church at 10am to collect equipment unless otherwise specified..

Areas covered

The area we cover is growing, but all within the Walton area. We do a different park / green space each month. Additional litter picks on Somersall Park will be planned in when we do games on the park.

Equipment for the litter picks is borrowed from the Walton & West Safer Neighbourhoods Team and SpirePride.
